THE LOVE OF COLOURS: SOME PEFECT 'COUPLES', THE BIG NO-NOS AND THE ULTIMATE BONANZA
Hello my fellow audience, and (BIG) welcome to my blog! Well, being the semi-fashionista that I'm becoming to be, I have decided to dedicate my first post to the love of colours. This post is going to be about the colours that go superbly well together (the couples), the ones that definitely don't match (the no-nos) and the ones that we definitely need in order to look glitz and glam wherever we are (the ultimate bonanza). So let's start this post off with today's theme - THE LOVE OF COLOURS . . .
The Couples:
If we were to be in our silly, whir-wally world, then the couples we'd be thinking about are the fact they don't fight, they're affectionate towards each other and all that stuff. But in the real world, we'd know them as "they go well with each other". Lets begin with my most favourite colour couple yet: pink and black. Or to be specific, a light blush pink with jet black. Perfect colour combo in my eyes, what with an essence of cute from the pink and a touch of GLAM Factor from the black. That's the magic of colours, they can easily combine two awesome factors together without conjuring up bizarre results! Then there's my second favourite couple, light cream and red. Rose red ensures brightness and popularity to me, whilst the cream is there to help un-overdo the power of the bright red, to make sure the colours go well with each other and not overlap each other constantly - if you know what I mean. Anyway, enough of the couples because we've already done a couple(!), let's welcome the no-nos!!!!
The No-Nos:
Let's start of with the biggest no-no of all: green and yellow. That's just EEURGH!!! The colour combination simply reminds me of vomit and green old muck. You surely don't want to wear vomit or green old muck, right? So there's absolutely NO WAY the colours green and yellow should be seen together (unless you see the light in them or can cleverly accessorize them with perhaps a classy statement necklace or something else as unique as that). Then there's blue and purple. Both beautiful colours, but don't go well with each other. That's because they're both too overpowering! I mean, blue is a colour that most people fall head over heels with, the same in purple's case. And if you decide to use both of these colours for a clothing, then they'll CLASH! You don't want that to happen, do you?And if that does happen, your effect for casualness will change to oddness and eccentricity, which you do NOT want happening, surely! So whenever your going to the shops to buy yourself a new top or something, choose wisely! Remember, don't have two overpowering colours - they cause clashing!
Now it's for the one we've been waiting for:
THE ULTIMATE BONANZA!!!!
Think this section containing tags such as: prom, homecoming, red carpet, glitz and glamour, fashionista, glitterball, dance - and all that kind of stuff! The ultimate bonanza has it's main colours, which are silver and gold. Definitely with red too if it's a prom! These are the colours which glitz and glimmer, glittering and glittering in the moonlight shimmer. How about a clap for that bit of poetry there then? Oh yes, these are the kind of colours which will make a PERFECTAMONDO statement to what you are wearing. Speaking of statements, how about a statement necklace of those ultimatum silvers and golds? Persepctively, they would go absolutely FABULOUS with the couples . . . for example, a pink and black dress would be complete with some silver bling, like a pretty pendant necklace (you can get these kind of things from places like Claires and Accessorize). The Ultimate Bonanza are the kind of colours which go with pretty much ANYTHING and I guess. . . EVERYTHING! So, with that in mind, why don't you go and add some Ultimate Bonanza Essence to your next outfit and we'll see you shine your way through to the Fashion Finals!
Well anyway, that's it for today . . COMMENT YOUR THOUGHTS OUT AND I'LL BE LOOKING FORWARD TO READING THEM!!!
